Travel has shaped my life in ways I never expected. I was born and raised in the Netherlands, where hopping across borders was as easy as a weekend drive. With my mother from Vienna, Austria, I spent much of my childhood exploring Austria—developing a deep love for authentic experiences, hidden gems, and the kind of travel that goes beyond checklists.
Over the years, I’ve visited 55 countries, including an unforgettable four-month road trip from the Netherlands to the Central African Republic with friends.
